A great course which is especially
A great course that is especially suitable for anyone who meets clients with in pain in their daily work. The lecturers really manage to make pain and neuroscience interesting in a humorous yet serious and well-documented way with several high-quality studies in the literature list.
Personally, I have become significantly better at understanding and communicating with people with persistent pain in my daily work as a physiotherapist.
Most importantly, the course has taught me that pain is always complex and that the dualistic and biomedical thinking that still prevails on many health education, clinics, and medical centers is hopelessly outdated.

A good and challenging course! The lecturers are able to convey modern pain understanding in a palatable way, leaving you with both new theoretical knowledge and practical skills to implement in your treatment.

Cammilla Simonsen,

My brain is constantly questioning everything I know after participating in Modern Pain Science course this weekend. It has changed how I think about pain and I am looking forward to getting practical experience applying this new understanding of pain. Thank you for a great course! I wish to recommend this course to anyone who works with people in pain.

Tina Lund-Lassen,
Occupational Therapist
My personal opinion is that all therapists should take the course and be updated on the latest knowledge on pain science. It is so important that we as a therapist can meet our patients respectfully and guide them to a better understanding of pain which can help them recover.
Simon does a great job at making the course material exciting – time flies away.

Jonas Lindberg,
Human Physiologist
Great course which addresses the patient as a human being and not just a condition or disease which needs to be cured or fixed.
The course is not only relevant in relation to pain and how we can treat it, but also how we as therapists can learn to communicate better and reassure and empower our patients.

Liselotte Vestergaard,
Physiotherapist
Very valuable course, with two incredibly skilled and dedicated teachers. I am amazed how many factors contribute and influence an individual’s pain experience. As a therapist, I now understand that I have the ability to influence my patients both in negative or positive way just with my words and without having any “hands on”. There is much to reflect on and to start working on to improve my treatment. Thank you for useful and useful knowledge.

Trine Andersen,
Psychomotor Therapist
Besides excellent lecturing explaining the latest pain science delivered in an understandable way with humor and fun, the teachers are also hugely empathetic and supporting. There is room for all questions and you are encouraged to be curious and reflective. Simon manages to create a good space for learning where many good debates unfold.
It is highly recommended to spend a weekend taking this course!

Niklas Vestergaard,

Very good course with competent lecturers. I work as a personal trainer and a big part of the training includes rehabilitation from injuries or pain, and with the improved skill set from this course, I am clearly better positioned to help my clients even better. I can highly recommend this course to professional who wants a better understanding of pain.

Michael Thompsen Oren,
Physiotherapist & Movement Coach
The paradigm shift that is taking place in physiotherapy and treatment, in general, s enormously extensive and complex. However, Modern Pain science course has managed to teach the material in an understandable and, not least, highly relevant and practical manner. This knowledge is necessary for any therapist. You will never again look at your patients’ pain the same way again.

I just returned from a course on pain science with Simon Kirkegaard as the lecturer. I have to admit I had the most crazy AHA experiences during the course. I Wish I had learned this many years ago. I’m looking forward to using this new knowledge in practice and help my clients back to a meaningful life.
